Overlooking the water on the Eagle Street Pier, River Bar & Kitchen is the brainchild of celebrity chef and restaurateur Matt Moran. Don't expect ARIA dishes on the menu, this is essentially a bar with food, but it's good food to boot. There's an all day bar menu with share plates like crispy fried chicken, burgers and potato wedges. There's also salads and pizzas and main-sized proteins from the grill. The open plan dining room is nautically styled, but in good weather, the best seats are out on the deck.

With celebrity chef Ben O’Donoghue behind the helm, the 80 seater prides itself on making everything from scratch – including their own jams, cream, cakes and butters. Dandelion & Driftwood is pretty corner cafe in the Brisbane residential suburb of Hendra, perfect for a healthy (or indulgent) breakfast or lunch. Dandelion & Driftwood is serious about its specialty teas and roasted coffee and freshly prepared delights. The beautifully presented high teas are a picture, and can be matched with Prosecco or even one of the selection of cocktails on the drinks menu.

Standing proudly on the corner of Cleveland Street and Logan Road in the heart of historic Stones Corner, Lady Marmalade is a hip café with a big heart. The walls are lined with music posters while the interior displays mismatched retro furniture. The menu is all about humble homemade food such as gourmet sandwiches, wholesome soups, organic breads and buttermilk muffins.
