The Agrarian Cooking School & Kitchen is Tasmania's first sustainable farm-based cooking school. The school also houses a vegetable patch, orchard, berry patch and herb garden, all grown using organic principles. You can choose from either "The Agrarian Experience", which focuses on ways to use seasonal produce; "The Agrarian Masterclass", where you can learn to make cheese and butter, bake bread, ice-cream and confectionery or; "The Agrarian Way", where you can learn the basic skills of sustainable cooking.

The Source Restaurant in Berriedale is filled with breathtaking elements - a vineyard setting, the stunning Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), Moo Brew beers, a stellar wine list and Philippe Lebain's contemporary French-inspired cuisine. The Josef Chromy Cellar Door and Cafe is in Relbia, Northern Tasmania a short drive from Launceston. It is an idyllic spot to revel in the natural beauty of the area, as you enjoy local produce suitably matched with estate grown wines. Housed in an original 1880's homestead with an open log fire, the venue exudes a sense of tranquillity. Take the time to marvel at the surrounding vineyards and lakes as you sip on an elegant wine from premium cool climate fruits accompanied by a Modern Australian meal.

Tasmania's heritage Hawley House is the original homestead of the 150 hectare Hawley Estate which sustains a substantial vineyard and an extensive and comprehensive wildlife reserve. Hawley House is about 15 minutes by car from Devonport Airport, and 15 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal. Guests can stay and dine at the property. Candlelit dinners are served most evenings and pre-dinner drinks are served in the drawing room by the grand piano.

Peppermint Bay is just 30 minutes south of Hobart and showcases some of the best seasonal produce in a sophisticated and elegant manner.
