Rosina de la Mare - 3/01/2012
I took my visiting family here for lunch and could not fault the location. The menu had something for everyone, and the food was as described. The service, however, was disappointing, we waited for an hour and twenty minutes from ordering, for our meals to arrive, and the wait staff were very curt. My main criticism however is the ridiculous policy of retaining your credit card behind the bar, should you be dining alfresco. Anyone from Europe would be appalled, as I was. The inference that I should abscond without paying my bill, because I am dining outside of the confines of the four walls, is ridiculous, and I am sure does nothing for Perth's already poor ratings as far as service is concerned. Take an imprint by all means but please do not ask me to surrender my credit card!
