Dining by the beach is dressed up at Steam, a hugely popular restaurant in Rye where it's all about seafood. The contemporary dining room here is filled with natural elements and plenty of sharing tables that are perfect for groups. The centrepiece at Steam is the cascading fresh seafood tank, featuring live oysters, scallops and mussels, shucked to order - the perfect accompaniment for a cold boutique beer.
