THE DINING ROOM AT PORT PHILLIP ESTATE
Mornington Peninsula, Victoria

Top10 Image
The Beautiful Port Phillip Estate continues to be one of the best dining experiences in Red Hill. Guests to the dining room can enjoy a distinctly European take on local produce in the sleek outward facing dining room. Boasting spectacular views of the surrounding vineyards and Westernport Bay, diners can enjoy the scenery with a glass of wine from the old and new-world cellar. James Halliday dubbed it "Winery of the Year 2012". Gourmet Traveller digested it as "One of Australia's Top 100 Dining Experiences".

Port Phillip Estate is a beautiful setting and they make some great new world wines. I always enjoy having lunch with a glass of Kooyong Clonale Chardonnay or a Kooyong Massale Pinot Noir.

Whilst living in Melbourne we had a couple of trips to The Port Philip Estate. It's a gorgeous winery on the Mornington Peninsula that makes some top Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Best Winery is a bit different than best wine. Because some of the best wine that I have experienced, may not have a reception or a wine tasting structure as such. I guess because wine makers are too busy making wine and lack of business minded business partner! So Best Winery, I would say Port Phillip Estate (Mornington Pennisula, Victoria). Great balance of quality wine with quality architecture. Lunch with a view! Must try their delicious Kooyong Pinot Noir...
