THE BANFF
Melbourne, Victoria

Top10 Image
A firm favourite among locals, The Banff is a casual pizza and wine-bar right on trendy Fitzroy Street. While much has changed from the buildings original use as an army barrack, the vintage fireplace and hardwood floors create a nostalgic and homey atmosphere. Here, well-priced thin crust pizzas and pasta cooked in a paper bag are the order of the day with a range of wines and beer on tap to enjoy. Plus happy hour doesn't just apply to drinks here, with cheap pizza at lunchtime everyday.

Mmmmm numnums - 23/04/2013
Great little venue, incredibly good value (and delicious) pizzas on offer, happy hour is quite reasonable and there is plenty of outdoor eating space, perfect for some people watching... The casual atmosphere is fantastic. Only drawbacks appear to be, very limited tap beers (some of which are unrecognisable, what is export gold??) cheap ish basic spirits on offer (what brand is that exactly??!!) and poor toilet arrangement. Overall these little niggles can be overlooked, enjoy your pizza, drink your (questionably branded) drinks and be merry!
