Bar Carolina on Toorak Road in South Yarra is all class. This modern Italian restaurant and wine bar has managed to straddle the fine line between old and new in both aesthetic, service and flavour. From Joe Mammone (of long-standing Italian favourites Sarti and Il Bacaro), Bar Carolina is a space that manages to function as a place for an intimate dinner, an after work spritz, an end of year booze up or even a family lunch.
