VUE DE MONDE
Melbourne, Victoria

2016 The Age Good Food Guide Awards - Two Chef Hats
An unforgettable fine dining experience awaits at Level 55 of Melbourne's iconic Rialto. Chef Shannon Bennett has held the coveted title of three chef hats for the last three years, receiving widespread acclaim and international recognition as one of Australia's best chefs. A gleaming black lobby welcomes guests and sets the scene for this dark, moody restaurant. The venue may have changed over the years but Vue de Monde continues to deliver classically-inspired French cuisine, combined with impeccable service.

You cannot fault or even go past Shannon Bennets, Vue De Monde in Melbourne CBD. This place has recently blown me away with the entire dining experience. From the second you walk in the building to when you get the lift down five hours later. Mind Blowing!

Vue De Monde, Melbourne has unmatched views and sense of occasion. Duck egg, pear, saltbush, truffle is a triumph. So delicate is this dish, with big flavours of the duck egg, and sensational combination of textures with ooze and crunch.

Degustation menu for Sunday lunch was an extraordinary and unforgettable experience. Almost faultless. Something for the most special of occasions.
