MELBOURNE SUPPER CLUB
Melbourne, Victoria

Top10 Image
A hidden treasure on Spring Street, the cleverly aged appeal of this restaurant/bar has attracted a cult following. Big bay windows overlook Parliament and Treasury Gardens and worn chesterfields beg to be lounged in. The hedonist crowd arrive for Melbourne Supper Club's pate foie gras, Oscietra caviar and delicious party pies with tomato sauce and chutney. The wine list is a dream and includes an extensive champagne list, spirits and even Cuban cigars.

CHEF RECOMMENDATIONS

When I first came to Melbourne I was introduced to the Supper Club by the team of chefs at Park Hyatt Melbourne. It was the perfect place for an after work drink and late night bite. To this day I still clearly remember the first time I sat in those comfy chesterfield couches and savoured every bit of my roast beef sandwich. It was to die for! I can still taste that amazing tender beef and delicious horseradish

Hospitality favourite would be Supper Club off Spring Street, Cumulus Up, Flinders Lane, Mamasita's off Collins Street or Supper Inn for late night night Chinese

When in Melbourne I love the Melbourne Supper Club (The European), the Croque Monsieur really hits the spot for a late night bite

Ok, if I can hold out until I get home, it's at my place with my jaffle iron, smokey leg ham, raclette cheese, plenty of mustard and butter and of course, white bread. Failing that, i can't go past the Melbourne Supper Club for a croque monsieur or the Embassy Taxi Cafe for a burger
