Mamak, named after the alfresco-style roadside eateries in Malaysia, has a dining room on Melbourne's Lonsdale Street. The 100-seater restaurant offers Aussies a taste of Mamak's Malaysian cuisine, exactly as you'd find it in Kuala Lumpur. Makmak doesn't take bookings, so it's best to get in early or wait with the rest of the crowds lusting after the kitchen's famous flavours. This restaurant does not take bookings.
