The doors at 72 Flinders St, the former site of Chef George Calombaris’ fine dining establishment, The Press Club, will now be home to Elektra. After 12 years, The Press Club has been replaced by a more casual, relaxed version of its predecessor however head chef Reuben Davis will remain. Elektra, named after King Agamemnon’s daughter, will not be strictly Greek but, rather, drawing on influences from across Europe.
