CAFE LALIBELA
Melbourne, Victoria

Top10 Image
If Africa is on your list of top world destinations, then get an advance tour at Cafe Lalibela in Footscray, just five kilometres west of the CBD. Food here is for sharing, so stews and vegetable dishes are served on what looks like a giant pancake, which you tear off and use in lieu of traditional cutlery. A fun an interesting night out.

I have been to Lalibela at least 10 times ever since I was introduced to Ethiopian food by my friends. I have never had a bad experience at Lalibela. The food is great and the staff are wonderful. Please try the 'coffee ceremony' but this has to be pre-organised.
