This restaurant is second to none. The service is personal and professional. The food is extra special in its quality and flavours. I loved everything from the home-made butter and bread to the soufflé to the blueberry duck and finishing with a vanilla and chocolate creme brûlée and home-made ice-cream was to die for! The wine wall is a unique touch in that you can pick up bottles and read the labels before you choose. We had the Chateauneuf-du-Pape and were not disappointed. A beautiful restaurant for a special occasion.

There is no equal to this place for fine dining in Melbourne. Ulla and Jon are to be congratulated for making a pearl in a landscape of also-rans. The attention to detail and ambience is second to none. I have never been anything but hugely impressed and I have had the pleasure of Jon's cuisine for over a decade. If you are a really good customer, Jon will even let you win on the golf course and buy you a beer! This place and sister, located on Nicholson St., Fitzoy is for that special evening you wish to share with a special friend or friends. Be prepared to be impressed.
