THE BEAR HOUSE RESTAURANT
Melbourne, Victoria

Top10 Image
Like something out of children's fairytale, the Bear House Restaurant is tucked away in the beautiful surrounds of Mahogany Park, offering an exclusively secluded dining experience. The Bear House is mysteriously alluring, with its dim-lit ambience and rustic timber walls, diners are welcomed with its European family warmth. The menu boasts simple favourites such as pork belly, veal scaloppini and bangers and mash with a Bear House gourmet twist.

I would highly recommend no one attends this place. We had a booking for 11, arrived at our time and the waitress full of tattoos was completly rude the whole time! When asked for menus after sitting there for 15 minutes she said OK in a rude matter, waited 20 mins before they came back to order food and drinks. They stuffed up 2 orders, when asked for bruschetta they said it was tomato and basil, when it came it it was nothing but bacon and ricotta cheese. When asked why, tattoo ferral replied chef changed his mind then got snotty when we told her we dont want it. Another girl didnt like anything on the menu and asked if she could pay for a adults size spaghetti off the kids menu and said no. Also charged us $9 to eat a cake we provided and didnt even tell us it would be this much. When we asked we got the response, whats your problem? Really rude, over priced, food was shocking.
