Meaning ‘wolf’ in Italian, Lupo is the latest restaurant from chef and restaurateur Scott Pickett on Smith Street in Collingwood. In the former space of fine diner Saint Crispin, Lupo delivers classic Italian fare using local Victorian ingredients. The star attraction of this 60-seater is undoubtedly the daily house made pasta so if you can resist pre-selecting a dish, it’s best to take cues from the waiter as to the dish of the day. For pre-pasta, there’s Italian-inspired snacks and an 120-strong wine list features a wide selection from both Australia and Italy, with a decent selection available by the glass .
