Magnolia, also known as Bar Magnolia, is Brunswick’s answer to a Parisian neighbourhood bistro, with just enough Melbourne charm to keep it honest. The dining room is intimate and warmly lit, while the French-leaning menu brings technique to comforting classics, from gougères and duck liver parfait to elegant fish and the occasional dessert to end the meal on a sweet note. The wine list is tight and well chosen, with plenty of French character and local personality. A gem to visit in Brunswick!
