If you're thinking that this might be just another Italian on Lygon Street, Melbourne's Little Italy in East Brunswick, you should think again. The bare bulbs and quirky, wood panelled bar give this place a modern feel but the food remains satisfyingly authentic. Gnocchi is hand rolled to order with chunky pork ragu while the most avant- garde dish is the avocado bruschetta. Come for charming, laid back service and simple Sicilian food.
