One of Melbourne's only dedicated Burmese restaurants, Ka Gyi brings the vibrant flavours of Myanmar to Box Hill's busy Station Street with warmth, creativity and serious cooking. Chef Aung Kyaw's menu draws on bold spices, fragrant herbs, slow-cooked curries and vivid salads, all given a modern Australian touch. Think Laphet Thoke, the iconic Burmese tea leaf salad with mixed nuts and lime dressing, alongside slow-braised curries and the Burmese coconut noodle that keeps regulars coming back.
