Went to Woodhouse last Saturday evening. Great food, very good spread of local wines and fairly good service. Only negative was we were not advised where the “Specials” board was located, nor its contents at any time during the evening. It was only on departure that I happened to catch sight of it high on the wall at the far end of the main Dining area. Will be returning with an overseas visitor later this week to try the great steaks on offer, hope to peruse specials then. Wonder if they have a mobile summary board for the rest of the house guests to see? Great desserts, especially the Tasting Plate which is really great to share, as were the pizzas, which we found well-dressed and beautifully cooked with a great crust – made great starters for a group to share
