About the restaurant
It's perfect for
a proper old-school steakhouse night that feels like it could be anywhere in Europe
You need to try
try the steak tartare, assembled at the table
Look out for
the walls lined with photos and memorabilia of Geelong and its football club
Named after the inimitable Mrs Eileen Clatworthy, who ran the neighbouring Sawyers Arms Tavern until she was 91, this intimate European steakhouse in Geelong carries her spirit in every corner. A royal blue palette, tartan carpet and feature marble set a wonderfully old-world scene, while the menu keeps things unapologetically steak-forward, think prime cuts over charcoal, Béarnaise sauce, duck fat fries and steak tartare. For something truly special, guests can pre-order a cut to be aged on their behalf.
