About the experience
The Cellar in Pokolbin captures modern flavour with the best wines from the Hunter Valley region. Streams of natural light filter through the dining space with lush greenery growing inside and around the venue, a memorable dining experience for any occasion. The beautiful wisteria-covered courtyard is ideal for a summery outdoor lunch. Inside, the light-filled sandstone building is relaxed yet elegant, with a welcoming open fireplace for the cooler months.
The menu of contemporary modern Australian dishes is matched perfectly with an award-winning list of wines, which are mainly sourced from our local vineyards. The seasonal menu mainly features local produce from the Hunter farmlands and local waters. Try local Port Stephens oysters, the roast suckling pig (min 8 diners) or whole snapper with a huge choice of sides, perhaps followed by a decadent dessert.
