About the restaurant
It's perfect for
dining inside converted silos with rustic industrial charm and sweeping harbour views.
You need to try
the potato gnocchi with pumpkin and sage, a local favourite for good reason.
Look out for
the open kitchen showcasing fresh Tasmanian produce and creative cooking.
The Grain of the Silos is in the unique Peppers Silo Hotel on the banks of the Tamar River, just across from the Launceston CBD in Invermay and the gateway to the stunning wine growing district of the Tamar Valley. The carefully curated menu by food director Massimo Mele, who has met each farmer, each maker, each talented Tasmanian who brings something extraordinary to an ever changing list of dishes. It's a bit off the beaten track but Grain of the Silos sits proudly in a patch of Tassie brimming with good food and people who care.
