The Retreat has 10 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, set amongst the majesty of the vineyards, making it an ideal location for corporate retreats. Meeting facilities are modern and light with spectacular views across the Onkaparinga Gorge to the Gulf St Vincent. There are bespoke regional outings to Kangaroo Island, the Adelaide Hills, locally in Mclaren Vale or the Barossa Valley. The venue also boasts a professional teaching kitchen, where Executive Chef Rebecca Stubbs can teach hands on cooking classes, focusing on seasonal regional produce.
The Cooking School offers guests at The Retreat, both corporate and private, the opportunity to add another dimension to their stay or program. The classes, both hands on and demonstration are designed to meet the needs of each individual group. The kitchen has been specifically designed to cater for up to 35 people in a demonstration class and up to 14 guests in a hands-on class. The classes give program organisers the opportunity to create team building exercises and it is a great way for families and friends to spend time together. Participants will cook meals based on seasonal, local products guided by talented Executive Chef, Rebecca Stubbs. All the dishes are matched to wines from the Chapel Hill range.
