Modern Korea is found at Giwa, in up-market Hyde Park. Cheap it is not, cheerful it is. Teh buffet style restaurant serves a more casual version of Korean food. Visually vibrant dishes impress, but may not suit those seeking authenticity in taste and formation. Galbi jjim – a hot stone bowl of rich slow braised beef cheek and crisped garlicky potatoes should please all.
