YING CHOW
Adelaide, South Australia

Top10 Image
Ying Chow is an Adelaide Chinatown institution. Gouger Street clubbers put their Chinese food radar on autopilot to arrive in the wee hours, and instinctively order all they know is good. And a lot here is good. Great actually. BBC (broad beans, bean curd, and Chinese chutney) is the know for all fans of this C&C restaurant. Donut sized shallot pancakes are faves too. It ain't fancy but it's home.

There isn’t much of a late night dining culture in Sydney. However, when I’m in Adelaide I will always stop past Ying Chow with my staff after a long night at Zucca. It’s B.Y.O. and their shallot pancakes and sizzling venison could rival some of the best.

Ying Chow Chinese restaurant in Adelaide. A bustling whole in the wall spot in Chinatown. My favourite dishes are the smoked duck and the famous BBC (broad beans, bean curd and Chinese chutney).

Ying Chow, Gouger Street, Adelaide. If you want to eat at 11pm at night this is where you go for great food and comically indifferent service. Their spicy BBC (Broad beans, Bean curd and preserved Cabbage) is an Adelaide institution and their Vinegar Ribs are lip-smackingly good.
