Standing proudly on Adelaide's North Terrace, Parlamento is an Italian stalwart, which in its two decades of history has hosted a slew of celebrity diners. Smartly dressed waiters provide amiable Italian service as they waltz between the wooden tables of the bright and spacious dining room. My wife and I decided to dine there last saturday night. No booking buk if out by 7:30. Fine, no problem. Drinks order taken then wait 20 minutes for service. Then entree and main course order taken. Entree served promptly, nice food then wait for main course for over 45 minutes. When prompted staff advised us "not much longer" and "fully booked". Other diners(2 tables)who arrived well after us received their mains within 15 minutes. On complaining of delay told "you can see the manager but he is very busy"! Very disappointing. Another one off the list!
