About the restaurant
Mermaid Beach is on the Gold Coast, just south of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.
Using as much local and regional produce from SE Queensland as possible, Rubi Red's menu covers all the pan Asian favourites, including sticky bao buns, betel leaf topped with tuna and kingfish and freshly shucked oysters with red nam jim.
Open from Monday–Thursday 5pm–late, Friday-Sunday 12pm–late.
