Sunnybank Plaza is home to Hakataya Ramen, a barely-there restaurant specialising in ramen in tonkotsu soup (pork bone broth). The secret of its deliciousness is simmering the pork bones for 39 hours – and the crowds are lining up for it. The menu is limited to a few items, but they are guaranteed to be done well – specialty noodle soups, pork dumplings, musubi (rice balls) and rice-based soup.
