About the restaurant
Mr Vain is tucked away down a laneway in Fortitude Valley. Moody and mysterious, the basement space features leather banquettes, exposed brick walls and an open kitchen. Rock oysters done 3 ways, scallops, salmon and duck are on the menu, locally sourced of course. Worth noting are the many gluten free choices on the menu. If you can't decide, opt to try the Chefs Tasting Menu, accompanied by a signature cocktail or wine and beer from the extensive beverage list.
