PROFILE BY BEST RESTAURANTS
Looking out over the sultry night sky, the alfresco-inspired Roof Top Bar at Limes Hotel doesn't stop at cocktails. Tapas dishes such as ciabatta bread with olive tapenade, oysters with finger limes and lemon pearls, as well as the crowd-pleasing mini eye fillet with a fig and whiskey glaze, are just some of the delectable dishes on offer. Open from 5pm to 10pm each evening and from 3pm on weekends, the Roof Top Bar and Restaurant is an ideal environment to wind down after a hectic day. A sophisticated dining experience, it caters for all manner of events from quiet afternoon drinks to functions for 100 people.
The Roof Top Bar's outdoor setting is hard to come by in Brisbane, and aims to create a European-influenced occasion for those who come to visit. Minimalist colouring of the restaurant contrasts with the warm hotel interior, perfectly reflecting the view of the Valley cityscape from the bar. Orange and blue neon backlights shine from under white tabletops, while black circular stools and couches provide a comfortable space along one wall. Limes Hotel lives up to its name by offering a number of lime-based dishes, including Thai fish cakes with sweet chilli lime sauce and Murray River salted fries with lime aioli.
