About the restaurant
Hidden away in a historic 1900's Abattoir building, Abattoir Blues is the go-to cafe at Sydney Olympic Park. The space is much more cheery than the name suggests, with cream painted brick walls and retro white neon signs reading baker', 'bar' and 'deli' behind the coffee machine (which brews an excellent cup). The baked bean pie, complete with puff pastry and a poached egg, is probably not the breakfast of athletic champions, but it's all about taste for this type of win. Capturing the heart and soul of the Park, Abattoir Blues is a restaurant, cafe and bar experience worth discovering.
