A new edition to Sydney's Odd Culture Group, Razz Room is the CBD bar Sydney forgot it was missing. Buried beneath York Street and drawing inspiration from New York's legendary underground clubs of the 1970s, the venue splits across an upper bar for post-work drinks and a sunken dancefloor ringed with banquette seating and a stage. DJs and live performers take over from 7pm nightly, spinning across disco, house, funk and jazz until the very small hours. The hero drink is the daiquiri - simple, perfectly balanced and here in more variations than you'd expect. Food leans into a playful nod to 1970s dinner party fare: prawn cocktails, French onion dip, and the Dirty Royale Cheeseburger.
