About the restaurant

Matkim is an exclusive Korean omakase restaurant located at 180 George Street, Sydney, offering a refined culinary experience with only eight seats available each night. Helmed by Executive Chef Jacob Lee, formerly of Kobo, Soot, and Tokki, the restaurant presents a 15-course degustation menu drawing inspiration from the four trigrams of the Korean flag - Air, Water, Earth, and Fire - incorporating both traditional Korean ingredients and locally sourced produce. Highlights include dishes like Western Australian marron with Korean crab soybean soup and abalone sotbap (abalone with abalone liver rice).
