Black Star Pastry's pop-up patisserie in the Kinokuniya bookstore has given city dwellers easy access to the kitchen's famous pastries, Little Marionette coffee and that Strawberry Watermelon Cake. The cafe, in the CBD's The Galeries retail centre, continues the Black Star tradition of providing delicious cakes, even when they're gluten free, dairy free and vegan. In summer, order a fresh juice or house-brewed iced tea with your snack.
