Eatery Rush - 13/12/2016
Unquestionably the best Indian restaurant in Sydney. We tried it after dining at Darling Harbour branch once before. The quality, taste and service was consistent and up-to mark. We ordered the special chicken handi with naan bread. The naan were soft and yummy. We ate most of them before the handi dish arrived. Chicken handi flavor was on-point! Juicy tender chicken cooked with strong traditional Indian spices. The meat was perfectly cooked to medium. The garlic and chilly garnish added an extra boost of flavor. For drinks we tried Jam-e Anarkali which was flowy fruit drink with orange, apple and grape flavors blended in. We were relieved to know that all dishes were halal making the experience alot more comfortable. Undoubtedly Lal Qila is the best Pakistani/Indian halal restaurant I have had at Sydney. Highly recommended.
