DETAILS

Frenchy's is housed in a historic cottage in Headland Park, with sweeping views over grassy headlands out to Middle Head. The tin-roofed cottage is painted in rich hues of royal blue, yellow and dark brown. Inside the feel is quaint, with round marble tables and a homey mantelpiece above a fireplace. Traditional wicker chairs are used outside on the sunny deck.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
As the name suggests, Frenchy's is all about traditional, rustic French fare. Many items are made from scratch in house, be it strawberry jam with a croissant at breakfast, or pork rillettes on a lunchtime platter alongside cured meats, pickles, brie cheese and baguette. Imported French Mariage Frères teas are perfect to sip alongside a slice of cake or fresh muffin.

I am a regular at Frenchy's cafe - the food and coffee are great and different and the staff are fun and friendly. It also has to be positioned in one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots in Sydney with harbour views and nestled away from traffic. The food is genuine French bistro-style food. The goat’s cheese salad is my favourite, as well as the Taste of France platter. Having lived in France for many years I have been looking for a casual French cafe on the north shore that is good and genuine. This is it. It’s also a great place to speak and practice French because all of the staff are French. Love it. Well done to the new owners.
