I am a local to Fourth Village Providores and the restaurant is good on a lot of levels, but not so good on others. It is bright and buzzy with good looking waiters, the pizzas are excellent, but the pastas are a bit average and I think it is a bit on the pricey side for the food. I had an experience there a couple of Fridays ago which I thought was a bit rich! We had a table for 3 at 7.30pm and by 9.15pm ourselves, and another table were finishing with coffee and dessert when the waiters started turning all the chairs up on the tables and cleaning around us! I live in Mosman and we all know that the streets are bare after 9.45pm but I thought that was a bit rich and poor form. The deli in the back is excellent.
