CHIOSCO BY ORMEGGIO
Sydney, New South Wales

Alessandro Pavoni, chef and owner of hatted Italian restaurant Ormeggio at the Spit has expanded with Chiosco by Ormeggio, which is very exciting news for those who have tried his excellent Italian food. With “Italian trattoria” as a concept, think dishes such as fritto misto, fried zucchini flowers and dishes from the charcoal grill and other fun, shared style plates. We guarantee you won’t be able to go past the ‘suppli’, crumbed risotto balls filled with peas, oxtail ragout and fontina cheese! And it wouldn’t be a true Pavoni venture without magnificent handmade pastas, great coffee and genuine Italian flavours.

Had an awesome lunch here for their opening. Great food at a lovely location, with views all around of the boats and bay. Absolutely amazing meal shared with friends with things like fried squid, burgers and yummy desserts! They have BYO for wine and beer, and judging by how delicious their mocktails are, I can't wait till they have a cocktails available too. Will definitely come back as often as possible!
