The host, Tim took us to our well laid table and given a salmon egg tart, compliments of the chef. Then a warm sourdough bread, prawn salad and haloumi and stuffed zucchini flower. The waiter cleaned the table after the course and we noticed how spotless the restaurant was. My husband had the barramundi and I had the snapper fillets which were white, soft and delicious. My husband is a huge fan of crepes and he said they were the best he has had! Tim cooked the crepes in our view and served them with the strawberries and sauce from the copper pan. And the espresso was good too. We were delightfully surprised by such a good restaurant just around the corner from us. The host was friendly, the waiter provided fantastic service, the soft background music and mouth watering food combined for a very pleasant evening. We will be back.

The warm and gracious welcome, the effective air conditioning, the rustic timber and carpets, comfortable chairs and plenty of room between the tables - took me back in time. The menu hasn't changed much and when the waiter came with the platter of fresh fish specials of the day - where had all these years gone. The service was highly professional with a real touch of personality - and the food was delicious. The simple grilled snapper fillet with bbq'd scampi was light, fresh and cooked to perfection. Many restaurants come and many go - but some continue the quality and high standards they started with all those years ago.
