Located in the Habitat community development in the industrial precinct just outside Byron Bay, Barrio Eatery and Bar is a Spanish-inspired restaurant. Barrio translates to “neighbourhood” in Spanish, and while the aesthetic has an industrial feel, the vibe is exactly that; homely and friendly, with excellent food and booze, to boot. There’s St Ali coffee and takeaway salads by day however, come nightfall, quality cocktails, an Argentinian and Spanish infused menu. At the heart of the food is a wood fired oven and Argentinean charcoal grill and the best dishes come via those portals. Bookings only required for 8 or more-please email.
