Secret Creek Restaurant is a must for all visitors to New South Wales. Located 90 minutes drive from Sydney, this wildlife sanctuary is dedicated to the protection of native Australian animals. Set on 200 hectares of pristine native bush land is home to Spotted-tailed Quoll, Emu and Brush Turkey. Take in the natural beauty of the bushland while sampling their Native Australian menu – which features camp-oven braised lamb shanks and bushmans BBQ ribs. The owners' goal is to save the endangered wildlife native to the area, so a portion of the price of every meal is donated to the protection of the Secret Creek Sanctuary.

Went to the Secret Creek Cafe for lunch. The menu defiantly didn't reflect the time of year. My husband had the pot pie and I had the chicken parmigiana, which was $20. I took one bite out of the chicken and thought this taste strange? Once I scraped the topping off I was shocked to find a processed chicken patty. Very disappointed by the quality of the food and decor.

This is the nicest restaurant experience I've ever had and that's saying something! The atmosphere and ambience were so warm and the cute animals hopping around the gardens were simply gorgeous. They had lots of friendly little wallabies, kangaroos, bilbies and emus bouncing about the tranquil gardens. Food - well, what can I say - just divine! They had a brilliant menu with a range of outstanding dishes. The owner and staff were so friendly and down to earth. I'd give it 100/10...A MUST VISIT!
