Launched in 2012, the Best Restaurants Gift Card is the country's most premium dining gift. Use the Best Restaurants gift card on your next night out by dining at one of over 400 venues across Australia. This card is available in both physical & digital formats and is valid for 3 years, making it the perfect gift for a special someone or your colleagues at work.

Not all listed venues accept the Best Restaurants Gift Card, but we pride ourselves on curating the best in Australian dining. Use our directory as your go-to guide for exceptional restaurants, and look for the green tick gift card symbol on each listing to see where the card is accepted.

Yes, both digital and physical Best Restaurants Gift Cards can be personalised. For digital gift cards, you can choose from a range of digital greeting card designs and include a custom message. For physical gift cards, at an added cost, you have the option to add a printed greeting card with a personalised message and, for an added touch, include a premium gift box. 

The Best Restaurants gift card is valid 3 years from the purchase date. 

Gift cards are GST-free on purchase.  GST and other taxes are not accounted for until cards are used to purchase goods or services from a participating venue. Applicable taxes will be collected by that venue at the time of that purchase. However, GST is calculated and included in the list price of other items including gift cards, gift boxes, shipping fees. T&Cs apply at checkout. 

An admin fee is charged on purchases in addition to advertised prices for goods and services. This is a variable fee calculated, added to online shopping carts and displayed on checkout. This covers costs of online payment processing and as at September 2024 is calculated at 1.1% of the purchase cost with a $2.75 minimum and $5.75 cap. 

For digital orders, recipients typically receive a digital card in their inbox (and optionally also via SMS) moments after an order is placed.

For physical orders, standard post takes 2 to 6 business days or express post 1 to 2 business days.

Yes, you can track your gift card here.

You present your digital or physical Best Restaurants gift card when the bill is given to you. You nominate the amount you wish to pay with your Best Restaurants gift card and this is deducted from your bill. If you still have funds on your card you must ensure it is returned to you so you can use the remaining funds on another occasion. 

Yes, you can use the Best Restaurants gift card amount and pay the rest of the bill with cash or card. 

Some restaurants may only allow one card per table or booking. Please check with the restaurant at the time of your booking or on the arrival to the restaurant to avoid disappointment. 

All gift cards are automatically activated after purchase. 

No, Best Restaurants gift cards are not redeemable for cash, reloadable, refundable, replaceable after expiry, or capable of having its value consolidated within a second card.
