Treat yourself to a unique weekend getaway to Contentious Character, a cool-climate winery with home-grown grapes and superb wine variety located in the hills of Wamboin. Here, they offer a fun and educational Indulgence Tasting experience guided by one of the Contentious Characters (subject to availability). You will definitely have the best of both worlds.
Featuring Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir or Shiraz, step your way through each vintage, all cleverly paired with the grazing board to bring out the notes. Learn about your variety and the vineyard's winemaking processes as you're led through each vintage – some up to fifteen years old.
The winery is situated in Wamboin, 30km east of Canberra.
