Saltbush Gathering-Indigenous Chefs at Zin House
A very memorable native fine dining experience will be held with the Zin House team to conclude National Reconciliation Week.
Dine amongst the saltbush for an immersive meal surrounded by the native ingredients you’ll find on your plate. Learn about our native bush regeneration partnership with Nathan Lovett, owner of Naway Yila Buradja (Today Brings Tomorrow). The meal will be accompanied by Lowe wines and non-alcoholic drinks made with native ingredients grown around you.
This very special event is a fundraiser for NICI (National Indigenous Culinary Institute), the leading organisation for Torres Strait Islander aspiring chefs to connect with some of Australia’s most prestigious fine dining restaurants. Wear clothes fit for the bush as you’ll be invited to walk down to view the Wiradjuri tree art designed by local Wiradjuri artist, Emmett McLeod.
Meet at Tinja Saltbush (park at The Zin House), Tinja Lane Mudgee.
Suitable bush gathering is required (boots recommended-no heels)
