Orange F.O.O.D Week

Australia's longest-running regional food festival celebrates 29 years in Orange, NSW this year.

Orange F.O.O.D Week comprises six signature events including: FORAGE, the 100-Mile Dinner and F.O.O.D Train, as well as F.O.O.D HQ, the Festival Night Market and the Sunday Producers' Brunch & Market. More than 90 satellite events hosted by local restaurants, cafes, caterers and cellar doors will create full program of long lunches, degustation dinners, food tours and wine tastings.

• F.O.O.D HQ: 27 March - 5 April 2020. 9am-5pm. (except Saturday 14 April). Free entry. Held in a marquee in the grounds of The Orange Regional Museum, F.O.O.D HQ runs daily throughout the festival with a series of producer talks and cooking demonstrations. Meet local chefs and producers, taste their specialties and purchase their products. Daily.
(except Saturdays) from 11.00am to 12.30pm. Free entry.
• FESTIVAL NIGHT MARKET: Friday 27 March 2020. 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Gold coin entry. Grab a picnic blanket, your friends and your family and head down to Robertson Park on a beautiful Autumnal evening. Over 50 food and wine stalls representing the Orange region to tempt your tastebuds, along with live music entertainment and kids activities.
*AUTUMN GRAZING DINNER IN BLAYNEY: Monday 30 March 2020. Price TBA. The ultimate foodie experience – aThe F.O.O.D Week Committee and the Community groups of Blayney welcome guests to the inaugural Autumn Grazing Dinner with guest chef Alex Kearns from Glebe Point Diner. Enjoy the experience of wandering through the beautiful Blayney Village whilst sampling local produce and dancing the night away!
• F.O.O.D Train: Friday 12-14 April 2020. Departs Sydney 7.18am. PRICE TBA. Ticket price includes all food and beverages. weekend package including a dedicated F.O.O.D train carriage, with producer talks during the trip; accommodation, a fine-dining dinner, tickets to FORAGE, and a visit to the Sunday Producers Market & Brunch. • FORAGE: Saturday 4 April 2020. 10.30am-6pm. Ticket price TBA. A magnificent 3.6km stroll through some of Orange's most picturesque vineyards, stopping at 9 degustation stations on the way to fill up on local food and wine. Admire the vista, sample the local produce and enjoy incredible cool-climate wines.
• SUNDAY PRODUCERS MARKET: Sunday 5 April 2020. Free entry. Come along to this gorgeous bespoke market in one of Orange's most spectacular settings, Cook Park. Brunch will be prepared by well-known local chefs and cooks, with produce and market stalls for you to browse through. Children's activities will keep them entertained while you stock up on locally-made goodies!
