Bundaberg is a coastal town, around 4 hours drive north of Brisbane, famous for its sugar cane plantations and major distillery and brewery. No visit to Bundaberg is complete without a visit to the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. You can book a tour of the distillery and the retail shop is open daily.

Hickson House Distilling Co is the latest venture from the team behind The Barber Shop and The Duke of Clarence, a soaring brickwork building which was the former Saatchi & Saatchi garage.  Hickson House Distilling Co is creating  gins, aperitifs, whiskies and specialist spirit that you can enjoy with a complementary kangaroo dish; all crafted with locally-sourced ingredients, such as native botanicals from The Loch farm at Berrima in the  Southern Highlands.  Experiential tours, culminating with tastings, a spirit store and private dining experiences; with a mezzanine lounge sitting above an expansive bar, serving bespoke cocktails alongside a botanical-inspired menu are all part of this exciting new destination in The Rocks.

It’s no secret, Sydney siders love an excellent a gin, and what better way to celebrate the classic drop than at the Four Pillars Laboratory established in Surry Hills. Come along and explore how the award-winning label distils and crafts their passion project. Settle in at Eilleen's Bar, where you can sit back, sip and chill with an array of bar snacks. Margaret River is a wine growing region in WA, around 3 hours drive south of Perth.

Margaret River Distilling Co has produced some wonderful varieties with the use of native botanicals. Have a tasting or enjoy a gin cocktail with a tapas dish or pizza.  Beer, wine and roasted coffee are also available.

Located at the boutique White Sands Estate, which spans over 200 acres on the beach front, IronHouse Brewery, Vineyard & Distillery offer relaxed experience and a friendly environment for the whole family. The Brew House Cafe & Bar provides a comfortable area to relax with a coffee whilst reading the morning papers and there is also a children's play area. The menu is well-rounded featuring local Tasmanian produce and is complimented by the award winning IronHouse beer range and seasonal drops.

Tucked away in the middle of the Distillery Botanica Gardens on the Central Coast in Erina is Bar Botanica, a cafe, bar and gelateria. Just a 90 minute drive from Sydney, Bar Botanica is the brainchild of Julia and Dan Hughes, the creators of Mr Goaty Gelato. Bar Botanica’s concept is simple and takes inspiration from the surrounding flora and fauna with garden-inspired dishes, coffee roasted on site and, of course, their famous gelato. The interior brings the garden inside, with botanical pains and plants all available for purchase. Bar Botanica does not take reservations

Escape to Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills to explore the charming Applewood Distillery. Embracing the natural wild elements of Australia to craft their bespoke gins, taste creative combinations using native plants like saltbush, lemon aspen and bush apple. Tasting flights are a great way to sample and get a taste of the range of the different gins on offer. Complete your visit with a bite to eat from the small but tasty menu featuring casual eats like panko fried chicken sandwiches and platters of cheese, olives and crackers. Bookings are recommended.

Hellyer's Road Distillery and The Distillery Restaurant is located in the northern coast of Tasmania, on the outskirts of Burnie, about 90 minutes drive from Launceston.

Book a Whisky Walk Tour, buy unique wines and enjoy the a la carte menu, dessert menu or afternoon tea and treats in the Distillery Restaurant with views of the rolling hills of the picturesque Emu Valley.

Distillery and restaurant are open daily 10am-4.30pm

Anther Distillery is located in Geelong’s historical Federal Woollen Mills, built in 1915.
