Pistachio makes fine restaurant dining accessible for all who stroll Torrens' streets, with a delightful menu and the deft touch of chef, David Keeley.Having trained under Jean Luc Obers at Chez Moustache, and then produced consistently high performance dishes in James Musillon's team at Aubergine, Courgette, and then Sabayon, David Keeley has topped his already illustrious career off with his own restaurant in the heart of the Woden Valley.

Two couples dined out here this week. A bit cautious as some of the reviews had raised criticisms especially about portion size. We were completely satisfied. Three rated their meals as excellent while one rated his as very good although his duck was little too done and dry. And all thought the portion size was appropriate to the style of restaurant. The young waiter was pleasant and attentive. The restaurant well laid out and comfortable. Pistachio deserves its awards - now two years in a row.

Pistachio was an instant favourite for my partner and I. Every aspect of this cosy and intimate restaurant made us feel relaxed and welcome. The staff are friendly and helpful and I love the pictures on the walls. The wine list is reasonable. The food is fresh, well portioned and delicious, I loved the entree and dessert tasting plates so you dont have to decide on just one. We've never been dissapointed with the food or the service and highly reccomend this hidden gem to all our friends. Just wonderful!
