Special occasion at Sepia
For special occasions we have rarely had a better experience than dining at Martin and Vicki Ben's Sepia Restaurant in Sussex St, Sydney. The food is innovative, delivers amazing tastes and the hospitality of the hosts and staff meet all expectations.
Best cafe at La Grande Bouffe
We love to occasionally have breakfast at La Grande Bouffe on the corner of Darling St and Denison St in Rozelle. The fact that it is just opposite our shop is an added bonus. Great coffee and tasty, satisfying breakfasts.
Late night dining at Three Weeds Restaurant
Although we are not regular night owls, after we have been to a show and want something light to eat on the way home, we enjoy the excellent bar food and a drink at the 3 Weeds Hotel in Rozelle.
Best kept secret at Nithiks Kitchen
I still think Nithik's Indian restaurant in Darling Street Rozelle is a bit of a secret that the locals are keeping to themselves. Bookings are essential as it is always packed. Although the service here can be slow at times, it is worth waiting for the carefully individually prepared dishes that will excite the most jaded of tastebuds!
Best winery at Bowen Estate
Our favourite winery is Bowen Estate, run and owned by Joy and Doug Bowen and their daughter Emma. Located on prime Coonawarra terra rossa soil, the Bowens produce a small quintessential range of classic Coonawarra wines.
