Antico Caffe has changed hands recently, and seems to be suffering as a result. There is nothing wrong with the restaurant, and some of the food is terrific. My timbale was a treat. They do good lunch time specials, and deserve to be a lot more popular day and night. My biggest beef, and I don't know how to tell anyone, is that the delightful Bengali waiter needs to use deodorant and wear a clean shirt every day. You should have seen it the Friday night when the cricket was on at the WACA! Even Ricky Ponting was there. But the Friday after it was quiet again. I hope more people start going as it deserves to do well.
I must say, though, that it bears no resemble to the Antico Caffe in Genoa, Italy. Oh for an Italian bistro that does!
