I've been coming to Palominos for years, sitting for hours in the warm-in-winter, cool-in-summer back room and working on my laptop while I drink excellent coffee after excellent coffee. I usually have a muffin for breakfast but they do great cooked food as well. The avocado and fetta is great with cracked pepper. They also have a wide selection of rolls and wraps for lunch which I believe they do take-away. Most days they sell out of my favourite, the chicken wrap. At night time, it changes from a busy cafe to a laid back restaurant. They have a great selection of south-west American inspired food (the menu says 'slaw' and 'fried' a lot). But the best part of Palominos is the service. The staff are friendly and the owner, Emily, is a hoot.
TIP - If you're around at closing time, you might get a free muffin.
